Opening its season with a 238 – 249 win over Chaminade on Tuesday, Sept. 11, the varsity girls’ golf team now stands at 1-0 both in league and overall. The Wolverines, who finished 9-3 overall and in league last year, take on Louisville on Thursday, Sept. 13. The Wolverines have not won league since 2008.
After opening regular season play with a 0-0 tie against Newport Harbor on Tuesday, Sept. 4, the varsity field hockey team rebounded with a 2-1 victory over Edison on Friday, Sept. 7. Following a 3-1-0 performance at a national invitational tournament in Florida, the Wolverines stand 4-1-1 overall. They take on Fountain Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 11.
