Chronicle online was one of 30 finalists selected Thursday for the 2014-2015 National Scholastic Press Association Online Pacemaker competition. The finalists were selected by three anonymous judges from 172 entries and the winners will be announced at the NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention in Denver April 18.

The Chronicle has been named a finalist for the National Pacemaker, high school journalism’s highest award. Winners will be announced Nov. 14 at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. Jamie Chang ’13 and Sophie Turner ’12, are finalists in the Picture of the Year contest for photos published in last spring’s Tenth Muse middle school literary magazine.
