Former Wolverine track star Amy Weissenbach ’12 qualified for NCAA Outdoor Nationals in the 800 meter race and was part of the Stanford 4×400 team that also qualified.
In the 800, she qualified fifth overall and second in her heat at Regionals with a time of 2:04.97. Her 4×400 team qualified eighth overall with a time of 3:32.65.
Next week’s NCAA Nationals, to be held June 5-8 in Eugene, Ore., will not be Weissenbach’s first collegiate national experience, as she ran the 800 at NCAA Indoor Championships this year as well.
