    Youth Film Festival

    Two middle school films and five upper school films were selected for the Westport Youth Film Festival on May 12 in Connecticut. The films, “The Good, the Bag and the Ugly,” by Xochi Maberry-Gaulke ’12 and “The Artist” by Noor Fateh ’11, Jennifer Plotkin ’11, Mark Seuthe ’12, Andrew Tobias ’10, William Tobias ’12 and Hannah Hafey from Marlborough were produced in Video Art Teacher Cheri Gaulke’s summer video workshop. “The Artist” took the top prize in the junior category. Upper school students’ films included “The Fortune Cookie,” by Alex Wilk ’07, “My Legacy,” by Johnny Ahdout ’07, Adam Payne’s “Haitian Fight Song,” Lizzie Barcay’s ’07 “Sunny Road,” and Josh Margolin ’07 and Sam Alper’s ’07 “Life is a Highway.”
