Volleyball defeated in CIF playoffs

With a loss to San Juan Hills in the second round of the CIF playoffs, the girl’s volleyball team’s season is now over. San Juan Hills won the first game,  25-20, and although the Wolverines captured games two and three, 25-22 and 25-17, they could not keep up, dropping the last two games 25-21 and 15-9.

The Wolverines defeated Calvary Chapel in the first round of playoffs by a score of 25-15, 25-11, 25-15.

The team finishes the season with a 24-11 overall record and a 9-2 record in league to reclaim the Mission League title from Notre Dame. The Wolverines, who had won five straight league titles before finishing behind Notre Dame in the standings last year, beat Notre Dame on Homecoming to jump into first place in the league standings.
