Following victories in the first two rounds of the MaxPreps Holiday Classic, the varsity boys’ basketball team fell to Westchester 70-59 in the semifinals of the tournament Friday.
Forward Clinton Hooks ’13 was the team’s leading scorer with 15 points.
Now 8-3 on the season, the Wolverines will face Loyola in the third place game of the tournament before they enter league competition, which begins with their first game of 2013 at Crespi on Jan. 4, followed by their first home game against Notre Dame on Jan. 7.
