In its first league game of the 2012-2013 season on Friday, the varsity boys’ basketball team narrowly fell to Crespi 84-81.
Throughout the game, neither team could gain a distinct advantage. The Wolverines held a seven-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, but could not prevent Crespi from coming back in the fourth to take the victory.
Now 9-4 on the season, the Wolverines will look to bounce back and capture their first league victory on Jan. 7 against Notre Dame in their first home game of the season.
