Boys’ soccer squad defeats St. Francis for second win in a row

After notching their first league win of the season 3-1 against Notre Dame Jan. 10, the boys’ soccer team was able to secure a 3-1 victory over St. Francis tonight.

Led by forward Henry Quilici ’15, the Wolverines were able to trample over the Notre Dame Knights to get their first league win of the season. With five minutes remaining in the match, Quilici caught the keeper off his line and kicked a rocket into the upper right hand corner of the net from 35 yards out to lock up the 3-1 victory. The squad was able to do the same tonight, defeating St. Francis 3-1 with the help of Max Rolnick ’16, Cole Fletcher ’15, and Jack Temko ’14 who each scored a goal respectively.

The Wolverines will match-up against Chaminade this Wednesday before taking on the Alemany Warriors Jan. 17.
