After defeating Duarte 52-38 in the first round, the girls’ basketball team fell to St. Anthony 60-43 yesterday, ending their CIF playoff run yesterday in Taper Gymnasium.
The Wolverines led 34-28 at halftime, but fell behind quickly in the 3rd quarter. The game underwent an 11-point swing, with the Wolverines down 43-37 by the end of the 3rd quarter. St. Anthony continued to pull away in the 4th quarter and claimed victory.
The 2013-2014 girls’ basketball team ended with a 17-13 overall record, going 6-4 in league play.
