The All-CIF teams for the 13 football divisions of the CIF Southern Section were released on Tuesday, and one Wolverine was honored, as nose tackle Zephraim Williams ’15 was one of 19 players selected to the first-team defense of the CIF-SS Southeast Division.
Williams, in his first year starting on the varsity team, led the squad with 73 tackles in 11 games, and led the entire Angelus League in tackles for loss with 30.5 on the season. Williams was an integral part of a defense that allowed 21 or less points in eight of 11 games.
Williams plans to attend and play football at an NCAA Division III school, but has still not finalized his plans.
