The field hockey team dominated Chaminade in a 8-0 victory at home, winning their third straight game following three consecutive losses.
The Wolverines showed out in their defense and passing, disrupting Chaminade’s attacks and converting them into counterattack goals and front court opportunities. Midfielder Margaux Schlumberger ’27 was a standout on defense, intercepting passes and facilitating the team’s offense with long passes to attackers on the wings. Kayla Graff ’26 and Kara Horacek ’27 each recorded hat tricks while Maggie Koo ’26 and Margaux Schlumberger ’27 each recorded a goal of their own.
The team improves to an overall record of 4-2, and will face Glendora on the road Sept. 17.
