HW Works and the Harvard-Westlake African-American Alumni Network will hold a speed networking night Oct. 24.
Alumni representing various industries, including finance, journalism and entertainment, will mentor recent graduates and current students through the job market and career opportunities.
The event will feature nine “speed networking” sessions, during which attendees can seek advice regarding the mundane, including proper resume format, to extremely important matters, such as career choices, alumni administrator Janiece Richard said.
