The boys’ and girls’ track and field teams started the 2017 season strong, opening with the boys defeating Crespi 89-32 and the girls defeating Louisville 66-54.
The large difference in points against Crespi was due to 12 athletes in the relays, pole vaults and long jump receiving first. The girls’ team also found success in the long jump and various meter dashes.
Following this win, the team looks to its next meet against Brentwood, Oakwood, Pacifica Christian and Crossroads on March 7.
