Lacrosse completes league double over Crespi

The boys’ lacrosse team dominated Crespi for the second time this season, crushing the Celts 17-6 on April 1. With the win, the team moves to 10-0 overall and remains undefeated for the season.

Earlier in the season, the team managed to beat Crespi 15-2 in its first league match March 14. Highlights from the match included two first-quarter hat tricks from Paul Rodriguez ’18 and Tommy Park ’18, as well as two goals for Jared Goldman ’18.

Similarly to the rest of its games, the team retreated slightly in the second half, more specifically in the final quarter. The halftime score was 12-3, but the Wolverines could only score five in the last half, while still conceding three.

Looking forward to the next match, the team will face Notre Dame away April 5. The Wolverines crushed the Knights 14-1 earlier in the season, and the team is expected to pick up another win.
