JSA Club to attend first overnight convention

Members of the Junior State of America Club will participate in their first overnight convention on Nov. 22. The Southern California (Los Angeles) Fall State Convention will take place at the LAX Mariott and is the first of the three JSA conventions that Harvard-Westlake JSA members will attend.

JSA is a political debate and leadership organization. It was founded in 1934 for students interested in politics and government, foreign affairs, and the law and education.

The convention is open to any JSA member who wishes to participate.

“I want new members to try to get involved in debates as much as they can and to find their voice at JSA,” co-president Victoria Yu ’15 said.
