Student government holds 9/11 discussion forum

On the five year anniversary of the Sept. 11 bombing of the World Trade Center, the prefects organized a discussion forum to talk about the effect of the event on people today. The history department helped direct the talk. History teacher Eric Zwemer said that the history department was asked to “help facilitate a more organized discussion of issues that the students want to talk about” and that the department was happy to do it. The discussion commenced with a minute of silence for the fallen victims of the tragedy. Students from all grades and faculty members from all disciplines attended the event. There were over 70 people there.
