Schrode reinstates summer Edinburgh Trip

In what program coordinator Eric Schrode called an “odd and unexpected turn of events,” the Edinburgh Project, which was cancelled just days before school began, has been resurrected for this upcoming summer. Schrode made the announcement in an e-mail to juniors who had participated in 2005.

“Conversations were had, new possibilities were explored, minds and hearts engaged in reevaluations,” he said.

The program will exist on a scaled back level, and for the first time the casting will be selective.

“I believe Mr. Schrode found a way for it to work logistically and financially,” Head of School Dr. Jeanne Huybrechts said.

He said that there will be still a variety of shows which will showcase students of all artistic talent, and the dates will be similar to the previous year.
