The varsity boysâ basketball team suffered an early exit from CIF on Tuesday, Feb. 20 when they went down to Compton High School in the second round and lost 85-59.
This was the second time the two teams had played and both times the Wolverines lost by significant margins.
Despite great efforts by seniors Jon Sebastian â07 and Jabari Trotter â07, the Wolverines allowed Compton to jump out to an early, insurmountable lead. At the end of the first quarter, Compton was winning 18-3.
