Prefect Council announced the new policy regarding absences on the weekends of Coachella Music Festival. Students can either miss the Friday or Monday of the weekend as an excused absence.
School announces new Coachella policy
The Upper School is mandating the use of phone caddies in the classroom for the fourth quarter to prevent further distractions from cellphones following an increase in Honor Board cases related to phone usage. The use of earbuds and headphones in the classroom will also be strictly prohibited.

    Art history students take trip to Pasadena museum

    March 15, 2007

    Sophomores in the History and Art of Modern Europe and the World class took a trip on March 5 to the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena.  Upper school history teacher Greg Gonzalez said that the museum has a good amount of art that is relevant to the time period that he is currently teaching in his class: European art from the 17th century to present day. The museum displays romantic, impressionist, realist and post-impressionist art, and Gonzalez said he and his class were very satisfied with the trip.
