Students give blood in community service drive

More than 60 students and teachers donated blood to the UCLA Blood and Platelet Center in Chalmers East last Friday.  Students over the age of 17 as well as teachers, parents and faculty members are eligible to donate to this biannual drive.  Blood collected by UCLA’s mobile blood donation units is used for transfusions in critically ill patients at the UCLA Westwood and Santa Monica Hospitals.
