Hebrew Union awards Rabbi Feigenson doctorate

The Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion awarded Rabbi Emily Feigenson an honorary doctorate in Jewish Religious Education May 14.  This degree was given in recognition of her active engagement in the field of Jewish education for 25 years.  Among her work honored by the doctorate is the program Sacred Spaces, which she created at the Middle School. Sacred Spaces encourages students, faculty and staff to share their religious and cultural experiences at school.
