Faculty members had voluntary shots and vaccinations along with their blood chemistry done at the annual health screening this Tuesday in Chalmers East.
“For my health, this is a good first preventative,” upper school controller Vanessa Rhodes said.
Trainer Sandra Teruya, who got her blood chemistry done, a flu shot, a TB test and her blood pressure checked, said “it’s convenient to have it done at school; it’s great.”
The school hires Work-Site Health to come once a year to provide the health screenings. Representatives from Aflac Insurance and California Credit Union, also an insurance company, come so staffers can get information on supplemental insurance, which covers long term health problems.
