Four faculty members attended The Council for Spiritual and Ethical Education to learn how to put together an effective character education program. Ashley Satterthwaite, Kevin Weiss, and Kent Nealis from the upper school math department and middle school dean Betsy Ilg attended the conference. The conference took place at the Wooster School in Danbury, Connecticut from Nov. 21 thru Nov. 22. David Wangaard, Ph.D., the event host, taught the faculty members about an 11 principle system regarding steps towards character, including responsibility and trust.
