    The girls’ varsity soccer team won the Mission League title yesterday by defeating Chaminade on the road 2-0 in its last regular season game.

    The girls’ varsity soccer team won the Mission League title yesterday by defeating Chaminade on the road 2-0 in its last regular season game. With the victory, the team overtook Flintridge Sacred Heart, which led the Wolverines by two points prior to the Chaminade game and dealt them their only league loss earlier in the season. The team finished with an 8-1-1 league record and 25 points and edged out Flintridge Sacred Heart by a single point. The Wolverines will begin CIF play on either Feb. 19 or Feb. 20.
