The girls’ soccer team was defeated at home 2-1 by Granite Hills in the semifinals of the Division II CIF Southern California Regional Championships.

The Wolverines scored within the first five minutes of the game to take the lead, but the Granite Hills Cougars tied the game shortly before halftime and scored the winning goal late in the second half.

The Wolverines beat Belmont 11-0 on Tuesday to reach the semifinal and won the CIF championship last Saturday.
