Girls’ cross country wins league match; boys’ finish fourth

By Julius Pak
Without Cami Chapus ’12 and Amy Weissenbach ’12, the girls’ cross country team placed 5th at the Staub/Barnes Invitational Oct. 2. At the league cluster match Oct 7, the two runners gave the team the boost they needed to win the league match, putting the team in a very favorable position to reclaim their league title.

The boys’ cross country team finished in fourth place.

Both teams’ next match is the Mt. SAC Invitational at Mt. San Antonio College on Oct. 22. Their next league match is the league finals Nov. 3 at Crescenta Valley Park.
