School controller resigns post after 14-year tenure

By Rebecca Nussbaum

School controller Vanessa Rhodes resigned as of Jan. 1 after holding her position for 14 years.

“You get a sense when someone’s ready for the next step in their life, and she was,” Chief Executive Officer Rob Levin said.

Rhodes oversaw the school’s accounting system and governmental filings in addition to supporting account supervisors, Parent Association groups, and serving as a banker for the Black and Red Club, Levin said.
