Field Hockey olympics

By Daniel Rothberg

Field hockey goalie Adrianna Crovo ’11 will compete in a tournament for a spot on the women’s national team, which will represent the United States at the 2012 Olympics in London and the Pan American Games in the fall, Crovo said. The University of Michigan bound goalie will join current members of the national team and collegiate players at the tournament.

“I’m really looking forward to the experience as a whole. There is so much I can learn from these women, from training regimens to playing on the field and understanding the game,” Crovo said. “It’s such an honor to play at this level.”

In addition, Kristen Lee ’12, Taylor Lee ’13 and Elana Meer ’13 will be competing at field hockey Nationals in June at the USA Field Hockey Training Center in Virginia Beach. The June competition will mark Lee’s fourth consecutive appearance at Nationals.
