After leading his team to its first Mission League title, star pitcher Lucas Giolito ’12 was chosen to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic, formerly called the Aflac All-American Classic. The game is to held in San Diego at Petco Park, home to the Padres on Aug. 14.
Giolito was selected to play for the West team among other top high school prospects in the nation. Austin Wilson ’10, now at Stanford, was honored with this selection when he was a senior.
The game will be televised by CBS Sports.
