    Boys’ tennis falls to University in CIF championship

    Following a string of victories against top ranked teams, the boys’ tennis team lost in CIF Finals against number one seed University High School, 14-4.

    The Wolverines started off the match with a solid doubles showing, winning two of three doubles sets, but was swept in singles, ending the first round behind 4-2.

    In the second round, the team only managed only one win in singles from Jackson Frons ’12, which was followed by eight consecutive University wins. In the final round, Jeffrey Bu ’12 managed to put in one more set for the Wolverines, but the match had already been decided.
