Prefect Council announced the new policy regarding absences on the weekends of Coachella Music Festival. Students can either miss the Friday or Monday of the weekend as an excused absence.

The Upper School is mandating the use of phone caddies in the classroom for the fourth quarter to prevent further distractions from cellphones following an increase in Honor Board cases related to phone usage. The use of earbuds and headphones in the classroom will also be strictly prohibited.

    Mission League names Giolito Pitcher of the Year

    After a breakout junior season highlighted by last week’s no-hitter in the second round of CIF playoffs, Lucas Giolito ’12 was named Pitcher of the Year in the Mission League.

    Outfielder Wes Peacock ’11, catcher Arden Pabst ’13 and pitcher/outfielder Jack Flaherty ’14 also earned all-league first team honors.

    Chaminade pitcher/outfielder Michael Dingilian won the Mission League MVP award.
