The varsity girls’ soccer team earned its third shutout of the season Thursday with a 2-0 victory over Oaks Christian.
Captain Danielle Duhl ’12 and forward Catherina Gores ’15 each scored for the Wolverines in the matchup.
Gores has scored in every one of the Wolverines’ games this season and has averaged two goals a game.
“The reason I have been able to score so many goals is because my teammates are some of the best players I have ever played with and they make it easy for me,” Gores said. “I have really enjoyed being part of the team, and honestly I don’t really think about being one of the youngest out there.”
The 3-0-1 Wolverines will face Valencia at home this upcoming Monday.
