Girls’ Soccer ties Westlake 2-2 in season’s second game

By Michael Aronson

With goals from Hannah Lichtenstein ’13 and Catherina Gores ’15, the varsity girls’ soccer team tied Westlake 2-2 on Saturday.

In her first season on the team, Gores is the team’s leading scorer after the girls’ first two matchups with four total goals.

The Wolverines entered the game on a high after their commanding 8-0 win over Palisades last week but failed to replicate their recent performance.

This is the sixth straight regular season win for the girls dating back to last season. They hope to continue that run at home against Notre Dame this Tuesday.
