The Prefect Council and Community Council officially announced their March 17 event, a dance, via a school-wide email Feb. 22.
The dance, called Spring in Your Step: Dance for the Gabriella Axelrad Foundation, on Saturday, March 17 from 8 p.m. to midnight, will benefit the Gabriella Axelrad Foundation. Gabriella Axelrad died in a traffic accident when she was a student at the Middle School.
Spring in Your Step will feature food trucks and performances by the Gabri Dancers and students.
To spread the word, signs have been posted in the quad and there was a flash mob during class fair at break on Wednesday, Feb. 22. Additionally, there will be a raffle and a fundraising week starting March 13.
This is the event that was promoted with cupcakes on Feb. 13.
Further details will be given during class meetings next week.
