Middle blocker Arielle Winfield ’13 announced her commitment April 12 to play volleyball at the University of Pennsylvania. 

Winfield chose the Ivy League NCAA Division I school because it gave her “the opportunity to have a rigorous academic environment as well as a strong volleyball program,” Winfield said.

Winfield “fell in love” with the school on an unofficial visit and was impressed with the university’s diversity, she said.
