Girls’ soccer player earns Mission League MVP

Girls’ soccer player Hannah Lichtenstein ’13, one of the team’s leading scorers, was named Mission League MVP Tuesday after helping her team reach a ninth place national record on the ESPN FAB 50 girls’ soccer rankings late in the season.

“It means a lot to me just because I put in so much work in the offseason and it has all paid off,” Lichtenstein said. “I couldn’t have earned this without the players I had around me though, creating opportunities for me.”

The team fell to San Clemente on penalty kicks in the quarterfinals of CIF playoffs on Feb. 25.
