Pitcher Hans Hansen’s ’13 complete game steered the baseball team to a 7-2 victory over St. Francis in the second win of the series. With three strikeouts and one walk, Hansen allowed six hits.
Max Fried ’12 went 2-3 with three runs and Jack Flaherty ’14 also went 2-3 with an RBI and a run.
The series win boosted the boys’ chances of clinching the league title but the team must also beat Loyola on Tuesday and Thursday to claim the championship.
