Coming off the heels of a close overtime win (8-7) against Crespi yesterday on Senior Night, the lacrosse team fell at home today in the first round of the playoffs against Mira Costa.

The game started off well for the Wolverines, as their fluid passing and opportunistic play got them an early 2-0 lead.

However Mira Costa was able to bounce back and jumped out to a 8-6 lead after the third quarter.

With the game seemingly within their grasp, the Wolverines just weren’t able to conjure up the same scoring magic they did last night as their playoff run was cut short by Mira Costa, 13-8.
