After a 24-1 victory over Louisville Thursday, the girls’ softball team moved closer to winning a Mission League title, a feat that it has not achieved for more than a decade.
The win marked the largest margin of victory for the Wolverines in the past two seasons and extended their undefeated streak in league play. The girls boast a 7-0-1 league record, two games ahead of Alemany and four games ahead of both Chaminade and Notre Dame.
The girls have outscored opponents by 107 runs this spring and boast a 16-3-2 overall record. They will take on Flintridge Sacred Heart Tuesday and Alemany Thursday before entering CIF playoffs.
