Middle school Spanish teacher Edgar Jurado will replace middle school history teacher and dean Karen Fukushima as a Student Council adviser.

“[Jurado] is energetic, focused, and really wants to work with the senators to make Harvard-Westlake the best possible school it can be,” Student Council adviser Keith Jordan said.

Jurado said he is looking forward to seeing the dedication of the senators this year.
