French students of all levels will participate in “Le Grand Concours,” a national exam, Thursday after school in the Seaver Academic Center.
The assessment will test students’ ability to understand vocabulary and grammatical concepts, and reading and oral comprehension.
French teacher Jerome Hermeline said students usually score very highly.
Taking the test is not required but highly recommended, Hermeline said.
“I always recommend students take the test, because it shows a proficiency in the language outside of our curriculum,” Hermeline said.
