Students and faculty gathered in Ahmanson Lecture Hall to watch the election results come in after school Nov. 8.
The event was run by the Junior State of America club and the AP United States Government and Politics classes.
Attendees discussed the results as they watched the election unfold through the CNNgo live broadcast.
Students said that they enjoyed watching such a historic event with their peers.
“This is our country and these are people that are going to lead our country,” attendee Will Newhart ’19 said. “This is obviously a very important decision, so it’s good for kids to take an interest in their country’s well-being.”
