Applications to join Community Council were due Friday at 2:40, after the deadline was extended due to an oversight on timing.
Since the applications were originally due the day students returned from spring break, fewer applications than expected were turned in and many students asked for an extension Director of Student Affairs Jordan Church said. The council thus decided to extend the deadline by two weeks.
The applicants are competing for 12 spots.
