The boys’ water polo team defeated Mission League opponent Crespi on Wednesday, Oct. 3, winning by a score of 20-1.
“We just went at them and didn’t let up at any point in the game, and we just made a statement that they can’t compete with us,” Andrew Miller ’13 said. “That was our goal.”
The win brings the Wolverines’ record to 10-5 on the season and 1-0 in league play as they move on to play Damien High School tomorrow afternoon at the Copses Family Aquatics Center.
The game Thursday was originally supposed to be against Servite. However, there was a schedule change and the team will face Damien, who they had played in a tournament over the summer.
