West Ranch handed the varsity soccer team its first loss of the season tonight. The Wolverines fell to the non-league opponent 2-0 at West Ranch, dropping to 1-1 overall on the season. The team defeated Bell Gardens 2-1 during its season opener last week.
The Wolverines will head to San Juan Capistrano this weekend for the Junipero Serra Tournament. The Wolverines are scheduled to take on Santa Margarita tomorrow night, but their opponent on Saturday, Dec. 8 is still to be determined. The Wolverines will not begin Mission League play until 2013, when they Crespi on Friday, Jan. 4.
