After trouncing Louisville 6-0, the Harvard-Westlake girls’ varsity soccer team finished their season with a League record of 8-1-1 and earned the title of Mission League Champions.
Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy delivered the Wolverines their only loss of the season and initially, both teams were going to share the title because they were tied. However, because Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy failed to defeat Chaminade and Harvard-Westlake defeated Louisville, Harvard-Westlake was made the sole League Champions.
The team’s first CIF matchup will be on Feb. 14, however, their opponent has not yet been announced. As preparation, the Wolverine’s will play a friendly against Valencia on Feb. 9.
