Coming off a 7-2 loss against Corona Del Mar in this weekend’s La Jolla tournament, the boys’ varsity tennis team lost to San Marino at San Marino High School today.
The final score of 15-3 was a result of the fact that co-captain Dylan Eisner ’13, high-ranking Michael Genender ’15 and Max Rothman ’14 were all missing from today’s match, Sam Hummel ’14 said.
“We were missing three key players, and that fundamentally broke down our whole lineup. It was a tough match, but hopefully we can bounce back and win our upcoming matches,” Hummel said.
The team is optimistic about its home match on Thursday against Viewpoint.
