Girls’ soccer center midfielder Mckynzie Dickman ’14 committed to Creighton University on August 11. Dickman and the girls’ soccer team finished the 2012-13 season with a record of 20-3-3 and in the third spot in MaxPreps’ girls’ soccer national rankings.
“When I first stepped foot on Creighton I knew that it was the school for me,” Dickman said. “I told my family that I found a school that fit me perfectly. I stayed with girls from the team and everyone was so welcoming and just so nice that I knew I would want to spend my four years somewhere like that.”
Dickman chose Creighton over St. John’s University and University of Michigan.
“Creighton is everything I wanted in a school,” Dickman said. “They have an amazing medical program and are a Division 1 program for soccer.”
