After losing to both Chaminade and Alemany 2-1 respectively and ending their match up with league rival Loyola in a 0-0 tie, the boys’ soccer team continued their losing skid in a 1-0 loss to Crespi High School tonight.
The Wolverines have scored just two points in their last four games, and have fallen to second place in the Mission League with a 2-4-1 record. Although the squad is in the midst of a drought, it was able to tie defending league champion and league rival Loyola last Friday at Ted Slavin Field.
With five games remaining in the clubs season, the Wolverines will look to bounce back and win their first game since Jan. 13 with a three game home stand against Notre Dame, Chaminade, and Alemany. The team will matchup once again against Loyola, ranked 2nd in Calif. and ranked 7th in the nation, in their last game of the season Feb. 10.
