After a late surge by the boys’ soccer team in the second half to oust Notre Dame 5-2 last Friday, the Wolverines were able to come away with a tie against Chaminade tonight at Ted Slavin Field.
The clubs’ previous matchup against Chaminade resulted in a 2-1 loss Jan. 15, but this time they were aided by their defense and Henry Quilici ’15, who scored the only goal for the Wolverines tonight. The teams’ loss earlier in the season and the tie tonight against Chaminade are the only two victories Chaminade has secured all season. The squad will matchup against Alemany this Wednesday in their last home game of the season.
The team is currently 4th place in the Mission league with a 3-4-2 league record and will battle out their last season match Feb. 10 against Loyola.
